Despite the lack of picturesque snow in New York City when we arrived the weather was absolutely wonderful (cold enough but not harsh). We’d hoped for a white Christmas and our second day in the city it gently started snowing and by the time we made our way to Central Park the ground was covered and it was as perfect as it comes.
PS I bought a bag of roasted almonds from a food cart because they smelled delicious and were hot. They were cold by my third almond.
PPS My mom took this photo and it’s cut off and lopsided because my camera was wrapped in a plastic bag to protect it. Almost all my photos from that day look like this.
Post post postscript If you live somewhere where it snows it’s hard to fathom how excited three kids from Florida get when they see snow. In Orlando we freak out when we can see our breath.
